22 on Nov 8th.. hmmm

The day started out overcast and blustery. Perfect work in the garage weather. Red was on today's docket: the old barn hatch door, 2 jars and the green tray. A clear coat of wax was applied to all 4 candlesticks too.
 ready to paint

The landscape fellow arrived around 10 to add more polymeric dust to the patios and by the time he finished it was sunny.. but still blustery ;)

I scrubbed up another project hopefully to do for my milk paint brand rep post and left it to dry well and got to use my power tools to brad nail the bottom on the tray. Of course there is always a WTH moment even when you check after every few nail, UGH. 3 popped thru the side so sand, wood filler and restain when dry.

I headed out to plant 50 tulip bulbs in this warm wind +21 day. I put 39 in the back new flower bed and 11 in the one front one. The ground was nice and damp, yeah but I stopped at 50 opting not to put the other bag of 90 in this year.

my guard dog on duty

Back inside,   while waiting for Sheldon who was late yet again, the candle sticks got detailed with dark wax and the reds another coat.

can you see the detailed one in each set? the dark wax gives that added dimension and detail.. they are both center ones if you can't tell

He finally arrived at 6:30, yeah time for a delicious steak supper! I went back out to dark wax the reds while Sheldon tried to stay up for the US election results but no luck, he was snoring before Trump was elected. I finished season 4 of Wentworth.. not the ending I expected!
