high of 12!

Another sunny day in October. Trying to market my wares with this internet service is touch and go and sure eats up time but I did get a few things posted. Kaylin's bed frame was my morning project getting a good coat of tung oil. It sure deepens the black and gives a rich finish. It took about hour and half to rub on then you leave for an hour and return to wipe off excess then left to dry overnight.

all oiled up

a snap of the dark wax and glaze on dresser

The cranberry dresser has been nagging to finish after I sanded the top awhile back. I gave it 2 more coats of paint so is now really ready to go.

Blog post for the bed frame was worked on as it will be another OFMP rep blog. I also was accepted for another paint rep project so had to decide on colors and project and get that all ordered.

It hit 12 today.. so exciting now that the snow has arrived. The horses managed to get muddy of course as ll the snow melted. Sheldon napped before supper then relaxed until the big season opener for hockey and Matt came to watch. I worked on laundry, cleaning brushes and marketing my wares. Still debating having an open house or setting up a store front in the city at an antique mall.
