flapper pie!!

Awake at 8 gave me time to check for more sales.. negative, any free deals...negative, post anew IG picture then get the coffee on and dogs fed. The dresser hardware and legs for the gold cream added, another drawer veneer glued then I hauled out another project I had a vision to do.

this end table is solid wood and brass and heavy... but I got it out of storage area and to my work space. It got a sanding on the top then a good scrubbing and left to dry. The solid brass hardware was a bugger to clean and took almost an hour but in the end it shined up nice.

I chose the same color as the MCM dresser from a couple weeks back 

then once dry used my black wax for the first time. During the drying phase I caught some sun watering my new flowers.

Britt was up early.. at 10 today and spent most of it on her devices but she did whip up a yummy flapper pie!! I threw on a chicken for supper and she and I went out in the 25 sunshine and rode KD & Bird. After hosing and feeding it was time for a frosty pina colada.

 Supper was so yummy especially topped off with my favorite pie ever!!

After supper I went out and painted the inside of the table while Sheldon mowed the grass at the gate and snapped this picture.

Britt was off to town at 10 after she and Sheldon shoveled in another piece of pie, I may have snuck another sliver too ;)
