no wind and sunshine.. for part of the day!

What a fantastic change in the weather, sun and zero wind to start the day. I was out in the garage putting a 2nd coat of fuchsia on the nightstand after dosing up Baby. Britt had a sleep in on her day off. Once up she did head out to grab all dirty halters and saddle pads and I got started washing. Riding coats and horse blankets too.. it was a washing day. She scrubbed all the buckets used over the winter, rinsed and left to dry. Her next chore was clean out her car well while I organized the horse trailer living area washing dirty rugs putting down fresh and restocking wipes and bug spray.

Being so nice though we headed out to work Bird & Switch.. even pulled out the barrels to give a new focus...and hose and doctor and feed and I swept the barn too. The new hitching post works great. The temporary fence went back up around the shop and the horses got to graze while the 2 ridden were in the round pen. I hauled the hose around and watered my planters out in the sun, the front and garden beds and filled the dogs pool. The high hit 17 but it was now starting to cloud up  and the wind blew in and look like possible rain.. or maybe wishful thinking.

So after supper, Sheldon and I went out and rode Pepper and Hawk. We met Britt walking Coco and D on our way up the lane home. I messed up my clean mat trimming Hawk's front feet but got splashed out when Pepper peed a huge puddle whilst I was rasping ;/ S tossed a bale while I collected the now dry clean halters and first blanket and put away then hung out another large blanket to dry.. in hopes of tempting rain to not make that happen ;)

Back inside, I did computer work, blog and continued laundry while Sheldon learned to press his dress shirts and pants.. a whole load of them.
