Plans to ride before Shaina was off to work were swapped for sleep on her part. I made coffee to get Britt off to her 9:30 shift at the salon after a slow sluggy start when she came up at 8:30. She is a tuckered but $$ gal with all these jobs; Following in sister Shaina's footsteps of job juggling. Since no riding I was out in the garage putting the poly on the tables before the brown glaze step.
I rousted sleepy Shaina at 10:30 and she was out the door just before 11 heading to the golf course, again it is 25 already. Brown glaze took up the next 2 hours, this is a finicky task esp for someone with OCD. But I love the finished results, pictures tomorrow once poly on.
first I had to make it.. here is cell phone vs camera coloring
Britt got home at 2 with a few groceries as I moved on to painting the 2nd coat on the curio cabinet.
the distressing demo before painting for the customer, again pictures tomorrow on this project too
After her nap she was raring to go getting gloves and goodies for the equine personal part care. I went out to give her a hand, girls and boys alike got a good scrubbing, thanks B!!
this is Switch's cut, and this is dried over from yesterday
I organized my next project getting ready to sand a couple dressers, of course one needed repairs as per usual, this time the veneer loose on a curved drawer front
It was just to hot at 28 to ride, today broke another record of 26.7 in 1897 hitting 28 here! WTH May 3rd! Back inside she hoovered down on tzaziki dip, chips and mango salsa claiming best snack ever. She was off to ball practice begrudgingly at 6, I said it is May, wait till August lol Sheldon was now home cracking a cold beer and cramming in snacks too. Finally we cooked steak and sauteed veggies eating late at 7:30 and it is still 26.
Around 9 I convinced him to come along to take the dogs on half the walk, it was so nice out.
if dandelions were gold... we would be rich!
I went back out and put cream on Switch before hitting the shower as S enjoyed .... hockey :) Britt was home later in the evening.
