road trip

Today finally arrived, my fancy new zirconium bridge insert appointment at Dr Dave's. Sheldon and I were up uber early and out of the yard by 8 am. We grabbed a tea and bagel and headed east in the sunshine. We were even early for my 10 am appointment. Sheldon headed out to tour the old stomping grounds while I acquired my new addition and got my teeth cleaned too. He stopped back to pick me up and we had a quick visit with the good doctor.

As we headed west, a storm was looming and sure enough, typical for our trips to Hanna, we hit it. Of course as typical but Sheldon also washed the car! We stopped for late lunch in Drumheller for Chinese food, it seems the chef may have changed in the years since we have been there. It was good but not a fabulous as we remembered. Arriving back in Strathmore it was plus 8 and sunny so we stopped to wash the car again before heading home pulling back into the ranch at 4 pm.

The last fellow to pick up his bison arrived for beers and visit. Hockey game for Sheldon as well as getting his bag together to go north and he did run out quick during intermission to roll out an oat bale for the ponies.
