many projects get completed

Upon making coffee this am, Sheldon found our hamburger for last nights planned tacos still in the sink, dammit! Guess the dogs get to try the fresh bison burger too. Once java'd up, Sheldon headed out to finish up the electrical, Matt and Theo stopped for a visit.

I waxed the front and top of the hutch after touching up and finishing all distressing. A power buff and hardware put back on and all the vanilla is finished.

Originally I had wanted a soft blue background but the tropical blue from CC was too bold. I tried wall paper and the mactac but eventually chose to mix the tropical half and half with pure white. Once the first cot went on I joined Sheldon for lunch. He had a nap while I went out to put on the 2nd coat. (first coat shown below)

B bathed grungy Coco and cleaned her new tack she bought last night in between homework tasks and learning to fry an egg. She did load up the bottles to run to town and get a bit of cash, hit the gym and grab some groceries.

The blue back got waxed and the 2 shelf bars got painted and waxed, tedious small brush work was required in the rail edge. A couple was stopping to see the grey dresser, of course right before they were to arrive I decided to throw another coat of poly on the top after a quick sand. It was drying well but I noticed a wee fiber and after making a wee mark I tried touching up which ended up a disaster. When they arrived the lady actually rubbed her hand thru the wet area ;/ but they want it and will be back in the am to pick it up.

I went to the shop and hauled in 2 press back chairs for the lady who is buying our dining table. I sanded the grey dresser top again and resealed with poly for the last time ;) Time to head in and cook tacos for supper, with fresh hamburger of course.

Sheldon bombed up and down the driveway and managed to shoot 2 gophers (sending photo proof) before heading back to the barn to install the stall mats. Today was yet another plus 16 day with wind.

Britt was off around 8 to head to the city to celebrate Amber's birthday. She will have a sleep over at A's grandma's. However in the end she came thru the door at 3:40 am which with the time change was 4:40 am!!
