key west is in the house.. again

The dreary overcast Wednesday (high of 2) was a perfect day for painting projects and setting up a new polocrosse Facebook page. I started the say by putting a couple coats of poly on the now dry growth ruler front and back. Then it was time for the windows; both got a coat of GF key west blue then they went different ways. One got another coat and sealed up with clear wax while the other got distressed well and then clear and dark wax for an aged feel.

these are just after paint, waxed pics tomorrow
While I had the paint out I also did a cork I have been wanting to "relove"

so Patron on left and fancy Rum from Craig on right, I felt tops needed to be switched
so after some paint, distressing and wax .. here is the new cork with its new bottle
think I may paint the actual cork portion too
the ruler all ready to roll
We had a polox FB group set up but they are not as conducive to public promotion as a page so I spent a couple hours getting this page set up, so stop by Rocky Mountain Polocrosse, like us and share our page with anyone "horsey" or who love following an action packed sport.
speaking of horses, Mom asked to use my picture of Miss Switch in a future ad, she is going to be famous ;)
