first day of spring

Sunny Sunday, the first day of spring is a beauty! I enjoyed a couple cuppas while updating horse books. I did a couple wood filling repairs on the pink chair before 2nd coat. Britt gave the new cordless clippers a run on Mr Jenkin's mats but the charge did not hold well so tried the electric for a bit.

B and I caught a couple trusty steeds, Pepper and Daisy, and headed out in the sunshine along with big D for a bit and Lola for half. Coco even spied us for a bit along south fence but we took her back and she spied us coming back for the winery on the north awhile later.

 there is little Coco, rushing to greet us down the driveway

So amazing to have another plus 15 day, might as well do some grooming. I trimmed Daisy while Britt caught Bird and rode bareback around us. Daisy and Bird got bridle paths cut and switch had the start of her roaching. Both Switch and Daisy got a dose of dewormer, a requirement for Switch's trainer visit coming up and Daisy for good measure according to her butt scratching ;/.

Showers and packing up, then supper and Britt was off late for school around 7:30. I enjoyed catching up on Scandal, another productive great day at the ranch.
