Open house ... bust

So today is open house, fingers crossed someone shows ;) It looks like it will be a nice day unlike yesterdays chillier overcast day. Amanda is not sure if she will be coming as poor little Ada is sick.
Marketing and promotion and hammering up the sign at the gate, adding music and scentsy to the "store" filled my morning.

Britt made an appearance for toast before heading back down. I sanded the repairs on the dresser while I waited for the 1 fellow who got directions to the open house. He arrived just after 1 and after a good inspection, we loaded up the dresser and he was on his way.

and that was it.. not another soul showed on this sunny plus 7 day ;( But it did give me a chance to dress up and brush my teeth ;) So to pass the time in non painting clothes I worked on a club logo and came up with this from Britt's sketch.

Just after 4, the dogs and I headed to the highway to retrieve the sign and low and behold, it did not stay affixed to the approach marker but was face down in the gravel.. hmmm guess wait till spring to pound in ground or get better sign idea.

Shaina text late last night, she is home safe and sound! Think Kaylin misses her when she is gone more then we do, ok I miss them both ;) But glad she is seeing the world when she can. Tonight roomies and Brad celebrate a late Valentines ;) XOXO

After a hot supper, Britt was off in the Jetta just before 7. Crazy to think she has less then 6 weeks left in her fist year!! Since the day has been a working write off for the most part.. I shall go finish season 3 of Downton ;)
