town trip

Another overcast day that seems to be cooler even. I continued my purge of treasures and got a large bag of new items and clothes for moms and older girls at the Women's shelter. I loaded up the trash and recyclables and fine tuned my list. I also scored Flames tickets to the New Years Eve game, let's say Sheldon is stoked already.. lower bowl row 10!

After lunch I was off, stopping first to deliver a thank you/family photo at Stouts and had a quick visit before heading to get the mail and hit the dump. Did I forget it was Monday?? Seems so, so the load in the back of the truck got a round trip ride to town. The post office was surprisingly not backed out the door when I mailed a few more thank you/photos. I threw a book in the library return before dropping off the bag of goodies and the red metal pillar holder I wanted to donate to the shelter, for either a gift or the home's Christmas table.

Time to get some shopping done and with some time and much searching I found what I needed for most. A stop to grab groceries and some booze were my last errands before heading home at 5 as it now getting dark. Unloading is always the daunting job which requires a cold hydration and the question, why did I not grab myself supper before coming home!!??
