And we are back to Monday again! Our club tournament is this w/e and I am the registrar, so I started some fires to get registrations all in today. Britt took Bird and KD out to condition which I followed up trimming KD's feet while Bird ate and Britt was off to town to get her car windows tinted and work a few hours at the gym starting at noon. Although it had only hit 23 and was overcast, I was sweating, whew!

Power tools came in handy to assemble the door plate to my now dry base, just need to countersink a hole in the back so the screw head is flush. You tube to the rescue! In minutes I found a counter sink bit but after doing found it so small so hand carve a bit then used a 5/8ths spade bit and got it perfect, yeah me!! Time for some photos to post.

I pulled more plants while waiting for a gal to pick up a free items then the dogs and I walked the wheel barrow full of spent flowers and weeds to the pit. It now had hit 28 and been sunny since noon so VERY hot walk. Lynda dropped Britt off as we were heading back, she stayed for a visit and barn tour.

Britt cooked part of supper, her famous fried perogies while I added corn on the cob and salmon burgers, what a delicious meal!!! Being Monday it was horse chiropractor night so we loaded Bird and Pepper and headed north. I ran quickly into Walmart to grab dog food and couple other items before we jetted off to pick up the now window tinted jetta. OOOO looking dope B.

She followed me out to Murray's after paying the bill where there was a line. This worked ok as Britt got to listen to her mentor at work then he had her diagnose and evaluate Bird. She and I are picking up lots of info in our recent visits. Pepper was given the free and clear of the pinched nerve.. good to get back riding! nice. She grabbed the traditional DQ blizzards for us while I headed home and unloaded the ponies before enjoying it and a hot shower! Sadly the evenings are getting shorter ;( don't go away summer!!
