first polox practice of the year

Saturday.. or shall we call it winday! horrible wind day it was. The sun was off and on and the high was 12 but Britt was up and off to work for 10 and I had horses caught and loaded and off to the city by 11:30. The Paetz family is off to Mexico but here is a nap picture I found from this week I forgot to share. Have a fun trip guys!
Shaina met us there after her spin class. We all enjoyed a fun but windy and tad cool day on the field but good to get out again.
 Shaina and I as #1's
Smiling Shaina and below Daisy is unsure of the mountain man's plan
Sheldon and I both have the ball in play
Shaina was off to work just after 3 and I headed back to the trailer as well as Sheldon to meet Richard. He is a great customer who used to be neighbor and buys lots of my treasures. Today was the red pepper grinder.
We enjoyed happy hour with the club and were last to pull out at 5. Bucking the wind yet again we were off home were Britt had picked up groceries after work and making a grilled cheese. The wind was even worse now as we unloaded. It did let up after supper when the family came to pick up the "coffee bar" and then picked up again bringing a sprinkle of rain just enough to wet the windows.
I went out to the garage to stain the 2 old desks. Both turned out quite different with same stain, different woods of course.

Sheldon ventured to the shop to start installing the floor to wall pieces he cut yesterday. He also installed the tack door, yet to choose glass insert and hardware but it is standing. He will finish up the mez floor to wall areas tomorrow as spray foam guys come Monday bright and early.

Britt continued to watch Dexter during supper and in her room after, our series obsessed TV girl ;)
