mezz progress continues

Lola is loving the balmy weather and headed outside for the day at 6 am. Today is flex Friday, no school B slept in while we were up and coffeed up but a later start for the mezz plans.   At 10 they headed out while I went to put first coat of poly on the table bases now they have dried 2 days. Also put 3 colors of paint on the old window frame. I was then off to town to grab a joist hanger they needed, grab my new reading glasses, a tea and couple treasures at the take it or leave it.

Back home I made the fellas lunch and Britt, she got ready to head to work at 2 till 9 and they went back to the shop. I put 2nd poly on bases and 3rd coat on the table tops.

brought in the smaller set to post for buyers color choice.. and they were chose to be done like the current set I am working on. I sanded and dark waxed the frame, now to decide which wire in the center?

 I also started another old frame destined to the trash but think it will come around nicely too.

 ready for the garbage? not quite, lets see what I can do

stopped out for some mezz day 2 update pics, the weather was again around plus 5 so door wide open and for ventilation too they say

I cooked up a yummy supper which included this roasted cabbage recipe going around, yum! Supper was followed by another movie night, tonight's selection was Gone Girl, good movie but awful ending! Britt got home from working after school just as we were finishing up so she watched it alone ;(
