Another page on the calendar turns

EEKK today is November 1st! holy cow batman, slow down time.. wait tonight we get one extra hour! yay! It seems I stayed up late again not watching 100 but rather I started The Killing which was recommended by a few. Not sure if I am hooked but will try a couple more tonight maybe. The fog was back and the day very dreary so a coffee and baileys and paint goes on a 2nd time on the hutch. More repairs always when working on old pieces, even those in good shape.

I went and tossed a bale for the horses as it began to drizzle and of course they never can figure out how to get around the gates to get to the shop side so I walked them around. Half were slow and once half ran to food they ran back to square one! ok so move the 3 thru the gates.. as a car drives up and watches, eventually KD decides to run into the correct pasture, the car was JW's. I mentioned I had my own religion but they suggested I take it to read as many others did as well.. gee thanks! paper recycling it went.

Once dry I did all the distressing on the hutch yet again but it looks great. Almost dont want to dark wax again. Matt kindly brought me some chicken wire for the doors from their new coop set up, THANKS!

At 2 the drizzle turned to... snow! Geez Louise. Time for a quick lunch of my last zucchini sauteed.. now what! Sandra brought a couple new customers out to talk about refinishing some old window frames but after her glass pane is repaired elsewhere. No more glass or mirror for this chick.

Matt came back over (he was here this am picking up his fertilizer stored in the shop, he told me snow was coming..boo) and kindly rolled out a bale for the horses. They are having a good snack day it seems. Thanks again Matty!

Britt was home after her work day and promptly fell asleep on her chair. I should have taken a picture but I did scare her good! I cooked up another real meal for supper, ok it was hot dogs and home made macaroni salad but it was food! Then I took off the plastic and did bit more on the hutch before calling it a day.

Actually calling it a night of The Killing after a shower, I fit in 5 more episodes, seems it does hook you in.

check out my new hair rinse.. seems we had a couple cases of Big Rock in a cupboard we forgot, crazy I know.. did you know beer goes bad? As a recycler, I chose to use it for hair conditioner ;-)
