MY blunder

late start Thursday was a foggy start before the sun popped out. I touched up the dresser paint, made coffee and tried the new on sale creamer.. not back for $12! Carolyn's was $23 for same size and Baileys even more, Get yours now at any Loblaw liquor store. Your welcome! Britt was off to school, I did a few chores and it was out to sand the dresser and start a few more projects.
the dresser got sanded and waxed

the brown frame got waxed and I started another oval one going shabby chic, both got distressed and finished a tray as well in vintage white. And while white was out I painted the 3 black wall sconces but not sure about them in the end

I put MTG on Switch to help grow hair on her new bald shoulder areas just as Shaina arrived out bringing my newly cut mirror. The owner called today and apologized for the cutting error but since they had the new one cut they would be willing to sell it for $20. I need a mirror, they had one cut.. I paid the $$! I trimmed and shaved the edges on a shelf board Shaina needed (cause I am a power tool queen) and we had a bowl of turkey soup and quick visit before they was on her way back to the city.

Time to get back to work, I spray painted the hardware for dresser, scrubbed the spray gun, waxed the oval frame adding pewter mica, put brown glaze on the back of the one frame too, everything to avoid dark waxing the dresser and installing mirror.
Finally I sucked it up and got it out, yep it fits, YAY!! I smoothed the back of the panes, cut the hard board backing like a pro and got all measured to staple. Once the bottom half was secured I had  check, beauty! finished up the top half and found it needed a bit of nudging to fit the frame, put in all staples and tapped in secure. Flipping it up I noticed a wee ding on the edge but was a few seconds before I saw the top corner had cracked across!!!! NO DARN WAY! I was in shock and laughed for a second then sat down for a wee bit of water works, I was not really sure what to feel at this point but after a call to Sheldon saying I quit, he reassured me that dealing with old things has a certain element of risk and it is not me but them and in the larger scheme, not really a big problem. HMMMM well I do know I am done with this mirror. It will sell as is, I am done with it ;-(
Time to stop.. I did brush on poly on the white tray then came in for a paralyzer and blog update and dang it a few games of cookie jam! Britt got home from work late yet again. I even managed to find her ANOTHER job for a week in January feeding some 4-H steers on her way to and from school, GO B! that mustang is getting closer each day!
