breaking up the hay field begins

Friday - Coco had managed to use her cone to get the bedroom door open at around 1:45 am, seems a huge lightening storm that lit up the room like the 4th of July had rolled in. I tucked her in with Britt and soon the rain followed.

There was off and on sun all day, Britt had no school again! so slept till just about noon

Sheldon ran to town to return trencher, mail a rustic pumpkin parcel then back to drop dump trailer and head south. He is borrowing a friends discer, the trip back was fairly long with such a slow speed. Mom and Dad stopped around 11:30 unloaded 2 dressers and a sweet table, enjoyed my tuna melts and a quick visit before heading to the city for Dad's appointment.
 this would make great sideboard
cute little table and another solid dresser
Sheldon got back around 1, grabbed a beer and lunch then helped me assemble a hook rack and move a dresser. Britt headed off to work for 2. After picking up Johnny, Sheldon started the discing process around 3:30 going well into the dark, which is before 8 now ;-(

I spent my day in the garage working on MORE items for open house.

Britt and her cats check the horses
the barn board coat rack all ready

this cute little wood holder got hand painted and aged along with hand painted numbers on the 3 stools
Britt worked 2-9 but not home until closer to 10 and only to grab clothes and off to a friends for a sleepover.
