1042 - still cold, no end in sight ;-(

Day 1042 it was -25 getting to a balmy -16!! WTH this is the craziest winter I remember for some time. Britt made coffee before heading to school. I called the internet who said a technician was out looking and soon it was back up, guess they don't work on the w/e! I posted items for sale and closed the auctions that ended last night.

Shaina was off to work for 10 but soon called saying she forgot her serving belt, work shoes etc. Sheldon kindly ran them into town for her and brought back a tea for us (and a box of chai for the winter stock up), thanks Babe!

I worked on sanding a small table and scrubbed it and a night stand thoroughly. I started painting red on the base of the table getting 2 coats on between stopping for tea and lunch. After lunch I put the ebony black polyshades on the top and first coat of surfboard on the nightstand and red on a paper towel holder.

Sheldon took the horses a bale and plowed the road yet again before leaving in the morning. He also hooked up the horses trailer pulling it out of the shop for the impending weekend practice if the weather cooperates. Unfortunately he found the lights not working so braved the elements yet again and went out to replace a switch. I worked on 2nd coat of surfboard and red on towel holder.

 many took an opportunity to nap in the fresh hay while 2 oldies got busy eating!

Britt worked after school, Shaina went to the gym after work before joining us for supper. She and I both had a hot bath even running the system out of hot water. Apparently when the furnace runs nears none stop and runs on the same hot water system, you may run out filling 2 tubs at the same time! Britt was home just before 9 claiming the BEST solo shift yet! Sheldon and I started a new series, House of Cards.
