When going to the city I always have to have at least 10 stops all planned in order of smartest route possible as well as timed out. First stop Costco for returns, next score some treasures at World Serve thrift store, nothing at VV except 2 free chairs tossed in a snow pile!, stop at naturopath which was a big mistake. It seems there was a train across Macleod but since thru traffic could go no where turning traffic light never went green for 14 minutes! I was right on time till now but the lady I was meeting at 11:45 called to say behind making that work. I arrived at dermatologist in time to meet another lady for the green chair and still make my 2 dermatological appointments on time.
today's sold items
stock dwindles, best get more :-0)
The mirror/sign lady was late following my appointments but she eventually arrived and we got her loaded up. I stopped next at a gals home (who turned out to be one of our neighbors daughter) for some lovely old skeleton keys. She makes jewelry and orders by the 100's. Thanks Tanya!!
The best VV in Calgary was the next where I scored even more goodies including a few more chairs and a sweet kids table and chairs. Getting a bit parched and peckish I stopped at Tims for a snack wrapper and ice cap. The weather was amazing at plus 5 requiring no coat. I ventured east to buy an old oak table from a gal then made a stop at Home Depot for supplies. Amazingly I had the fellow cut a 4X8 sheet of hardboard in half and he got in the back with the piles of treasures!
Time to head home arriving just after 4. Sheldon was bathing Diego then blow drying him. He found more snow in the garage rafters so cleaned up the snow and put plywood over the vent. Ran to town to get Britt's car leaving her the truck and replace the battery clamps. Plowed snow at the gates so all can close well when gone before giving the dog a bath.
here is Shaina's arm today glue still in place, her thumb is still numb but should feel better in time
A cold beer was a great way for us to celebrate our productive days. Soon Shaina was home from hers and Brittany's sister pedicure while Britt stayed to tan before heading home. Sheldon cooked us supper rounding off a good week for me getting off the chef hook. Time for Britt to finish art project then study for her 2 final tests tomorrow, Shaina went to wing night, Sheldon watched TV and I did some blogging.
our sunsets are amazing!
