900 - wood and dirt progress

Day 900.. really that is a few days since we pounded the first stake but we sure have come along way! After making coffee and washing the dishes Sheldon ran and closed the gate so the horses could graze int he hay field. Since the other 4 are enjoying lush grass at Matt's, he felt sorry for the 5 left on the billiard table pasture.
nice new watering hole

Britt went with a friend to Cross iron to spend the day shopping, Shaina came home not feeling well after her girls night out, just as I called it!

I worked on the last coat of wax on the geo table and the picture frame, brought them in and staged after dry.

I also stained the top of the desk, a growth chart for a lady who ordered a custom one as well as the family maple sign. Then it was hand painting time..
 dark stain on both
 stained natural maple
I got my next project out, removed hardware, stickers and scrubbed and hosed it down before filling cracks and making repairs after it dried.
thinking classic black.. or one of my blues :-) but want it to be timeless and fit any decor and I'm tired of working with white!

This sign is so very true, there is a ton of work that goes into recycling furniture even before the painting starts. But forgot fix it, remove stickers, remove and reinstall  hardware to name a few
Sheldon worked on moving one of the top soil piles around the house

few stages of dirt dumping and moving along with girls putting horses away
I went out to water the last of my flowers and had to snap a photo of this pretty perennial fall aster from Auntie Mindy, so pretty to have fall flowers
and this random sweet pea finally finding sun after the other morning glories were pulled out.

We enjoyed a late supper before I washed another table and we started our Breaking bad episodes.
