891 - salsa and chair finished

Day 891 I was up early as Britt headed off to school. Frost covered the grass.. fall is in the air for sure. I spent most of morning doing accounting then spent time organizing the garage and putting a dark wax on the white chair.

 I checked out my latest treasures, putting them in the window to shine their beauty

 snapped a shot of some of my stock.. looks promising!

Shaina spent a leisurely day sleeping in then getting ready and heading off around 2. She is picking up Brianna and they are going to Medicine Hat to visit Kate and stay perhaps with Grama and Papa.

I worked on the blog as I thought I would quit doing it but decided to be sure Kaylin;s birthday was recorded then I headed to the garage to sand a table and the old desk chair. At 4 I came in when Britt got home bringing me  peppers and celery for my salsa. I started chopping and 2 hours later I had the ingredients on the stove, holy crap that was a bit but glad I have the Tupperware chopper, it sure helped with all but tomatoes.

Britt left at 5 heading to Rockyford for a birthday party and sleep over at Ambers. She works at 8 am tomorrow then off to Jason Aldean concert so it will be a busy weekend for her. The salsa simmered for 3 hours. I finished season 5 of Dexter and rather than finishing the final season started Weeds. I did not care for it so started a movie while enjoying a hot bath, filled salsa jars then hit the sheets for an early night.

Today is also Papa's official birthday which we celebrated earlier this week, Happy Birthday Papa!
