Day 847 I was up early making coffee getting ready for my day. Just this morning I had a third lady inquire about buying the coffee table and end table I just finished. If I only had a few more sets of Ikea pine. However I need to get the shop doors painted and finish the projects on the go. Time to get painting and selling hopefully!
Sheldon was up a bit after me ready to start work on the smaller barbecue deck. I painted the shop doors and removed the tape, done! then moved on to hand painting my projects. Note to self, no coffee and baileys before hand painting!! :-) Next was to sand the end table on the deck then 2nd coat the dining table legs and first coat the body.. whew!
By now it was 1 and time for a quick lunch. Britt was up cutting watermelon. After lunch I was back out in the shop painting the table bottom its second coat before I cleaned and rearranged the deck. I loaded the big ikea chairs in the car, Britt jumped in and we headed to town about 2:45. Bank stop, chair delivery, post mail, print a large saying at work then out to pick up Miss Mitzy from the vet clinic were our errands.
Back home just after 4, I hand painted my Blessing sign for Amanda's birthday. She will not be surprised as I asked her what she would like on a sign and this was her choice. It will look very cute where she plans to hang it with the kids baby pictures.
this one will be a surprise..
rail progress and completion around the deck
It was 23 again today like yesterday but the new blinds are paying off well, (keep them all closed like Grama W always did) the house is an ice berg. Who needs air conditioning!! Sheldon finished up all he could on the deck and enjoyed a couple beers on the deck. Shaina arrived home from Kaylin's in the late afternoon enjoying her day off. She did do a couple chores here before heading to town. Britt got ready to head to town for supper with friends then a late movie (same one as us) and sleepover at Brooke's.
Sheldon and I ran to the city to pick up the last 3 posts, stopped for a drink and appetizer quick at East Side Marios before taking in the movie We're the Millers. Oh my it was a funny movie, just as we hoped. We were both starved so stopped at Shillelaghs for a drink and supper before heading home by 11. Shaina who arrived home just before us found all the horses out but she managed to wrangle them all back in herself.
