814 - 29 and she is HOT!

Day 814 is another scorcher with a high of 29. After coffee start Sheldon went to work on the clay and gravel project. I started watering trees garden and flower beds which is on going in this heat wave.
Sheldon worked on finishing gravel around the garden area and under deck by Shaina's window and Diego's house, how clean it looks now
Britt picked up Brooke and they went to chinook to take in a movie and shopping at 10. It is like she is a seasoned city driver now.. and shopper! I put the first coat of poly on the growth stick and posted my finished projects. I sure need to make room to finish more! I also planted a rhubarb plant I hope survives. I dug fertilizer into all the outdoor plants, new trees and shrubs and tried washing a few windows too.

Shaina caught KD to ride and I fine tuned her feet before she rode. She also washed all the horse whites and hung to dry!!Then she was off to work for 2 pm till close.
By 4 it was cold beverage break, still there was no beer fridge refill but we managed to find 2 cold pilsners in the back of the house fridge. The sun was now blocked by threatening rain clouds after such a hot day but it was a nice break.

It was time now to shower up and head to neighbor Matt's for his PremiumAg 10th anniversary party for 5. As we got ready the eves trough guys showed up to put the last back on. Just as we arrived at the party, a small shower came down but not for long. Britt made it home from the city and joined us for supper before she came home to ride and relax for the big tournament tomorrow! Matt had quite a spread with 2 fully roasted pigs on a spit. Sheldon and I enjoyed a long night of visiting making it home just after 1 am. Much to our surprise Shaina was home in bed too by then :-)
