Day 801 - I woke up a few times but at 6:45 I checked to see if Britt off to work and found her still sleeping in the TV room! She was ready and out the door in 4 minutes!! But at least she got about 12 hours of well needed sleep. It was a lazy start after going back to bed but once up and going we got more chores done. I checked the gauge and there was 2.5/10ths of rain overnight.
Britt was done early at 10:30 today so after loading trash and recyclables we all loaded up and took 4 bales to our neighbor visiting there for a bit before dumping trash and recyclables then hitting Subway for lunch. Brooke just started working there yesterday so Britt wanted to give her some business.

Fuel fill up, library stop, bank deposit, shopping at Canadian Tire were the next stops before heading home. Back at the ranch Sheldon preceded to move the rock pile while I mowed around the house and pulled tree shoots and weeds from under the trees. We were chased inside by a storm that rolled in at around 4:30. It accumulated alot fast but unsure as rain gauge tipped over!
the sun was back out before 7 shining bright. Britt went out and fed the skinny pen and hosed poor Bird who is still lame for reasons unknown. Sheldon putzed around outside for a bit while I sorted pictures on my computer, laundry and vacuumed the hardwood (dust and hay acquire daily).
