Day 780 started with my wake-up call from mom about 8:45. I have not chatted with her since she was here when Ada born so we managed to chat for almost 2 hours. Next time I shall have my tea ready! While chatting I moved flower pots of stairs and dug my new spirea as the masons planned to arrive at 10. I enjoyed another call from Microsoft, this time it was only half hour but resolved issues :-) I also had an online sale to a repeat customer, thanks Brandi :-)
Britt was up at 11 and ate before heading to her shift at Lammles for 12-6. Shaina was up at noon and she too ate and headed off for work at 1. She first gave me a hand to move the dresser and end table I picked up last night into the garage.
I jumped in the truck with horse trailer at 1 and headed to Langdon to pickup my recent purchases. I was back home by 1:50 coming thru rain on the way. Sure enough the mason and helper arrived soon after and in time for the rain to come off and on. They actually headed out in 45 minutes planning to bring more guys and work long day Monday (which I thought was to rain but will see)
The rest of the afternoon for me was playing with kittens, filling and sanding the one growth board and waxing the other.
crazy kitties
Britt was home from work just before 6:30 of course with a purchase.. fly sheet for her horse, pretty sure the kid will be working there for free as she also ordered 3 pair of Miss Me jeans too already!
Shaina was home from work at 7 bringing supper for us all with her!! Britt fed the 3 ponies before showering to head to Hussar days, same place Shaina was off to with friends. Shaina will however be coming back to town tonight and Britt is going to brave a tent overnight!
Britt headed out about quarter after 8, Shaina helped me unload todays furniture purchase before she headed out to about quarter to 9 leaving me to a quiet house on a beautiful evening. I went out and watered plants till mosquitoes found me.
one of our surviving trees a Manchurian ash with the dandelion seed field in the distance
