yesterday I did a mock-up of the front deck. I want to paint the front face of the deck the dark trim color to help ground the house as well as cover the areas that have visible stamps. Sheldon thought the light color of the flower beds but changed mind to dark after viewing mock-up
the bad dirt company sent a fellow to pick the asphalt out, this in my opinion was a typical kid hired to pick rock, he really was not concerned and I would see chunks buried by him :-(
Sheldon continued to spread loads and pick out rubbish. I worked in the morning on furniture. I sent Shaina out to pick poop in pastures but she quit soon after bugs chased her in. I filled and repaired mineral tubs in both fields.
Shaina and I started trimming horses feet in the afternoon. The mosquitoes were so bad by the end it was ridiculous even in the barren shop. I did get Scooter (dignified lady) and KD (complete twit) finished and helped Shaina do Baby. I don't think I have ever sweated so much trimming esp indoors! Once Britt made it home from school we all tacked up and just after 5 rode for an hour.
It then was a huge rush to barbecue salmon and eat before Britt Sheldon and I raced to her grade 10 year end awards night for 7 and Shaina went to roller blade and workout at the gym. Britt was awarded.. HONOR ROLL for the 10th year in a row!!The awards ran till after 9 so we grabbed a hot tea and headed home. whew another busy day
