Harley usually asks to go out almost every night promptly at 5:20. Today she went out briefly at 5:30 then she entered our bedroom before 8, salivating heavily, so I let her out, and the poor girl rushed to the grass to vomit bile. I suspect the pills she took last night may have upset her stomach since they were not taken with sufficient food. After having our coffee, I prepared a large bowl of food for her, gave her the morning pills, and also gave her a thorough brushing and applied salve to her cheeks.
S enjoyed his porridge before settling down to browse the internet. As is typical for a Monday, I posted a new tutorial; today's was about making a rice papered basket. Afterward, I sent it to the paint company along with all the photos and videos, and shared it across various social media platforms. S then loaded the bottle tub from the island and took it to the depot, since the bottle tree project is postponed until next year. He returned to his chair as the weather turned windy. At 11:11 on November 11, 2024, we observed a moment of silence. Lest we forget.
I converted and resized photos and videos for yesterday's blog and managed to post them before noon. Britt and Cooper went out to tend to their horses despite the blustery wind. They didn't stay long but quickly tidied up her work area in the garage before leaving.
Sheldon graciously went into town to collect three nightstands I found online, and to drop off a huge bag of items at the thrift store and the homeless shelter program. Meanwhile, I continued working on my passive income ventures and even set up an Amazon Influencer store. However, this does not place a tracking cookie on your Amazon order, so it only counts when people actually purchase the items I recommend in the store.
He returned in time for lunch with Opa, which we enjoyed alongside a cold beer. After lunch, I resumed my online work to bolster my passive income streams. Sheldon, after another beer, returned to his laptop but also took the car to fill up the tank after unloading the three nightstands. Later, he left to pick up Dave before 4 PM to take advantage of the early bird specials during happy hour.
I went to the garage, photographed the nightstands, and relocated them to the storage area, deciding not to keep one. Following that, I power-sanded the coffee table's surface.
Subsequently, I dedicated time to removing the old glue from the pedestal, which proved to be a challenging task. Utilizing scrapers, a drill, screws, and sanders, I managed to nearly complete the job. Afterward, I glued one side, secured it with clamps, and left it to set overnight. Harley received her food and medication, and her cheek was cleaned and salved. Unfortunately, Jay is exhibiting a limp, but no clear cause is apparent.
I came in, enjoyed a chicken sandwich, and continued working on today's blog. It was time to wrap up the Walter Boys season. Afterwards, I watched the movie "Find Me Falling." S returned from his Flames victory game around 10:30 and joined me for the ending after having a chicken sandwich. We began watching "The Lincoln Lawyer," but he fell asleep within minutes, so I ended up watching "Gifted" instead. What a heartwarming film, truly full of emotion.
